What is the Rhenish Academy for Nursing and Healthcare ?

Our Rhenish Academy for Nursing and Healthcare (or German “Rheinische Akademie für Pflege und Gesundheit”), founded in 2019 in the German City of Leverkusen, is a non-profit institution which is dedicated to the education and training of nurses and healthcare professionals in Germany. Nurses and healthcare professionals from abroad are also offered the adaption training courses of Rhenish Academy.

Which courses does the Rhenish Academy for Nursing and Healthcare offer?

The academy trains future healthcare professionals and nurses in Germany. The training can be divided into three areas, elderly care, health/nursing care and paediatic nursing. Additionally, the academy offers training for foreign nurses and care workers.

The Rhenish Academy can also help with the recognition of foreign nursing qualifications. Therefore, it is offering a variety of seminars, training courses and preparatory courses that prepare applicants for assessment tests for qualified nursing staff in Germany.

In the field of advanced training for involved healthcare professionals, the academy offers several courses in quality management, palliative care, communication and much more.

The academy cooperates with several public and private healthcare institutions, like ambulant care, hospitals, relevant authorities and nursing homes. In the future, the academy will be looking forward to further expanding its cooperative network in the field of healthcare.
